人Des（1-3）胰島素樣生長(zhǎng)因子-I（IGF-I）是人IGF-I的67個(gè)氨基酸類(lèi)似物，缺乏N末端三肽Gly-Pro-Glu。人類(lèi)Des（1-3）IGF-I在體外和體內(nèi)比IGF-I更有效。這種增加的效力是由于人Des（1-3）IGF-I與大多數(shù)IGF結(jié)合蛋白的結(jié)合減少，這些蛋白通常抑制IGF-I的生物學(xué)作用。人Des（1-3）IGF-I與1型IGF受體結(jié)合，與全長(zhǎng)IGF-I具有相似的親和力。

Human Des(1-3)Insulin-like Growth Factor-I (IGF-I) is a 67 amino acid analog of human IGF-I lacking the N-terminal tripeptide Gly-Pro-Glu. Human Des(1-3)IGF-I is more potent than IGF-I in vitro and in vivo. This increased potency is due to reduced binding of human Des(1-3)IGF-I to most of the IGF binding proteins which normally inhibit the biological actions of IGF-I. Human Des(1-3)IGF-I binds to the Type 1 IGF receptor with similar affinity to full length IGF-I.
